The Cryonics Society: How You Can Help
The Cryonics Society can only promote cryonics if people help us with donations and support.
What exactly do those donations foster? Efforts like these:
- We help people locate and connect with legitimate existing cryonics providers.
- We direct inquiries from journalists and about donations to legitimate cryonics research projects and organizations.
- We provide breaking news alerts and updates about cryonics and other cutting-edge scientific developments through the Society web site and our electronic newsletter, FutureNews.
- We provide free downloadable informational materials including ebooks, videos, marketing materials and screen savers.
- Our professionally qualified staff have in appropriate instances provided marketing advice and services to pro-cryonics organizations and support groups.
- We help people interested in cryonics connect with each other online and in real-life meeting-places by pointing them to mailing lists, forums, and new social networking media like Meetup.
- The Cryonics Society designs and produces new and original information sources such as the Cryonics Society web site, and The Cryonics Reader.
- We take positive and informative messages about cryonics to the public directly through direct mail, print advertisements, article writing and placement, podcasts, media interviews, and promotion.
Be Part Of The Future. Act Today.
What does it cost to help us keep providing these services? Supporting our efforts at the Basic Supporter Level is only twenty-five dollars. But anything you can give, whether it’s a dollar or a bequest, is welcome.
The bottom line is that things don’t change unless they’re made to change. Changing the way people regard cryonics means actively promoting a new and better public perception of it. And promotion costs money.
You can’t send mail without paying for stamps. You can’t place ads in magazines without paying for the space. Even a web site needs someone to pay to host it. Funding is critical. What we’ve done, and what we hope to do, is only possible because of contributions from people like you.
So make a difference.
And make the choice for life.
